Our founder, a lifelong equestrian with decades of hands-on experience, grew increasingly frustrated with the existing waterproofing products on the market. No matter how many she tried, the result was always the same: rugs that felt heavy, stayed damp, and worst of all — left horses wet, uncomfortable, and cold.
The cost of replacing rugs every year or two and throwing old rugs away into landfill just because of their lack of water proofing seemed so wasteful.
After countless soggy winters and wasted time and money, she set out to create something different. Something better.

How does it work?
Using very clever technology, our sprays provide an invisible nano coating on your Rug's fibre's that, once dried, provides an unrivalled water repellency. Rug Shield is easy to apply for the horse owner allowing application to be done at home or at the yard.
